Sarah hosted a meeting and gave a talk for the 21st Century Network, organization set up to discuss some of the major issues of the 21st century using social networks to reach a new audience of concerned people, on the subject of child trafficking and abuse.
Also speaking were Catherine Turner of Anti-Slavery International; Tahirih Danesh, a human rights researcher and documenter who specialises in the case of minorities in Iran; Dragan Nastic, the Parliamentary Officer for UNICEF; and Paul Massey, a lawyer who has worked with victims of online grooming.
Sarah said: "This is a topic I have worked and campaigned on frequently, and serious action must be taken at all levels to put an end to the exploitative and destructive practice of child trafficking which ruins too many young lives.
"I hope this event will give the 21st Century Network's action group on child trafficking the start it needs."
